Rainbow Beaches 2024
At Lifesavers with Pride, we are passionate about promoting and celebrating the diverse vibrancy of our LGBTQIA+ community.
Across Mardi Gras in 2024, Feb 16 - March 3, surf clubs will make visible their inclusion of the LGBTQIA+ community by proudly showing the progress flag, hanging up pride banners, wearing rainbow sweatbands and zinc, and whatever else they choose to do!

8 Proud Beaches Scholarships awarded for 2023/2024
Lifesavers with Pride received the largest number of submissions for the Proud Beaches Scholarship in November, 2023.
We are excited to announce that we awarded eight scholarships, across NSW, QLD, VIC, and SA, for participants aged 23-59, and across a diverse range of gender identities and sexual orientations.
We wish these recipients all the best in completing the Bronze Medallion and look forward to keeping in contact!
